The Email Messages feature allows you to send emails to your NPressive constituents directly from within WordPress. As long as you have a SmartSegment, you can email them without ever leaving WordPress!
When to Use
Email Messages are perfect for short, one-off personal emails. Say you want to message a group of members—such as Board Members, or Spouses, or members that haven't renewed. With Email Messages, you can send any SmartSegment a personalized email directly into their inbox.
Email Messages supports basic formatting like linking, bold, italics, lists, and indentation. You can even attach files! By default, Email Messages will appear as from no-reply@npressive.com, so the recipient will receive an error if they try to reply to your the email. You can, however, set a custom no-reply email address.
But say you want to send a more detailed email, or finely-tuned layout, or want reporting. Don't worry, Sync with MailChimp remains your go-to for complex layouts and content such as newsletters.
How to Use
We've already configured your website to use Email Messages. To use, follow these steps:
- Select your preferred SmartSegment
- Select Options
- Select Email Matching Entries
- Format the email as desired and select Submit
